Hand Bound, Art Covered Book

inspired by my mentor and friend, Denise Kester, who learned this stich while in art college, that is known as the Mare book. Each book is covered in artwork, with 5 blank signatures (sets of folded paper).

It has been a joy to see these interactive art pieces go out into the world and all the different ways that they are used: broken up into 5 different categories of projects, an uninterrupted flow of writing throughout the pages, an exquisite common place notebook, and more.
